As you might have been able to tell I’ve been trying to put more effort into my digital existence. My physical existence is doing okay, if you’re wondering. I eat my veggies. Anyhoo, there are a few tech tools that have really helped me move things along. They’ve made my posts brighter and my site slicker and I thought that I’d share in order to give you guys some insight so you can check them out yourselves.

Canva – Canva is a great tool for creating better Instagram posts and email headers, really anything that needs tight graphics. They have a ton of templates and their interface is fairly easy to use. It’s free to sign up and you can upgrade for access to unlimited templates. The pro for this site is that you can manipulate your own photos in conjunction with the templates. Other tools like PicMonkey won’t.

PicMonkey.com – I came across Picmonkey first and used it as a photoshop substitute, and it works great for that. It is a paid service though, even if the price (about $30/yr) is small. They’ve recently added templates to help you with posts.

Filmora – I don’t have a Mac so I use a PC to edit my #booktube videos and needed a good piece of editing software. Filmora was cheap (less than $50) and it works fantastically well for what I like to do. I can slow videos up or down, adjust the volume and add in headers.
