Freestyle Fantasy Frenzy 2024

The Freestyle Fantasy Frenzy is a Summer readathon that centers the expansive worlds that Black folk build when they’re dreaming. We celebrate the Black authors of horror, fantasy and science fiction and commit to reading them all month long.

You can read as much or as little as you please, but we ask that you absolutely do read and do the following:

• Read at least one book from the list

• Review at least one book on the list on Storygraph, Goodreads and/or Amazon or Barnes & Noble

• Request books you weren’t able to find at your library or Buy your title from your favorite indie bookshop
